The 3rd Lichess Bots Championship is a double elimination tournament, so every match has to have a winner and some participants play more games than others. Most participants of the tournament are engines that make moves without human intervention, but it will be very interesting when a team of strong players (who use computer assistance; freestyle chess) try to defeat these bots in the tournament. The human players of this team are united in the BOT account (on Lichess) HumanTeamBOT. If you know other chess players that are very strong and want to help lichess.org/@/HumanTeamBOT, you can invite them to join this forum.

During the 2nd Lichess Bots Championship more than half of the participants had been eliminated after three matches, but one of the finalists (LeelaChess) played eight matches during ten weeks. The time controls are mentioned in the rules, 70,83% of the matches were won with only the two classical games, 6,25% of the matches were decided only after the maximum 13 games (the time controls get shorter the more games you play). There are no prizes, but because HumanTeamBOT and the other bots are all very strong, we might see almost perfect chess. It's a fun challenge that all participants will learn from and participants often get new fans because of these games. Many participants of the 2nd Lichess Bots Championship are participating again because they liked the experience. You can contact lichess.org/@/Ajile for help with practical matters and communication. Nobody makes money from this tournament, we all just like chess. More information about why there aren't any prices can be found at lichess.org/forum/team-lichess-bots-championship/ajile
The human players of HumanTeamBOT can set up a group Skype call (or something else: www.makeuseof.com/tag/fed-up-with-skype-here-are-6-of-the-best-free-alternatives/) and then take it from there. Using Lichess Studies may also be helpful. As a bot account the normal rules of not using computer assistance and such don't apply, so a lot is allowed. It is recommended to test it all (especially team communication) in a couple of games before the tournament starts. This forum can be used to discuss how the team will communicate and decide which moves to play. It's a new experience, so please be patient with each other.
